Purple exclamation mark.svg Planning the future of Botwiki! - Help us bring Botwiki up to date, contribute to our strategy discussion, add bot scripts, and contribute manuals, guides, and tutorials! Almost anything related to bots, particularly those used to edit mediawiki, is welcome.

Red exclamation mark.svg UNABLE TO EDIT? - We've experienced attacks by spambots lately and now require you to confirm your e-mail before you can edit (go to your preferences, enter an e-mail address, and request a confirmation e-mail, then go to your e-mail and click on the confirmation link). We also require new accounts to make a few edits and wait a few minutes before before you can create a page; however, if this is a problem contact us in #botwiki and we can manually confirm your account. Sorry for the inconvenience.

See "edit" above? On the Botwiki, you can edit scripts right now.

What is the Botwiki?

The Botwiki is a wiki about bots. A wiki is a special type of website, collaboratively written by many of its readers. Inappropriate changes are removed, and repeat offenders can be blocked from editing.

How can I help? Don't be afraid to edit — most people can edit almost any page, and we encourage you to be bold, but make sure that your code is not malicious!

You can't break the Botwiki, but you can mess scripts up, trust it, most of the people here have done that once or twice.. Anything can be fixed or improved later.

Make your first edit right now:

  1. Please, remember that while the Botwiki is a free receptacle of scripts, it is not a forum! No profanity, libel, or personal attacks will be tolerated.
  2. Sign your posts on talk pages by entering four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon.
  3. Click Show preview to test your changes, or Save page when you're happy with the way it looks.
